Failure to complymay result in damage to equipment.NOTE(1) Remove two screws and washers fromfront grille.(2) Remove screw and washer from frontgrille.(3) Remove front grille from cab.(4) Disconnect connector P119 fromconnector J119.(5) Loosen screw in external wiring harness24-pin connector.(6) Disconnect external wiring harness 24-pinfrom internal wiring harness 24-pinconnector.(7) Set multimeter to ohms.(8) Connect positive (+) probe of multimeter to connector P119-U.(9) Connect negative (-) probe of multimeter toexternal wiring harness 24-pin connectorpin E1 and note reading on multimeter.(10) If continuity is not present, replace transmission external wiring harness (para 6-7).(11) Connect positive (+) probe of multimeterto connector P119-U.(12) Connect negative (-) probe of multimeter toall other pins of connector P119 and notereading on multimeter.(13) Connect negative (-) probe of multimeter toground and note reading on multimeter.(14) If continuity is present, transmissionexternal wiring harness is shorted; replacetransmission external wiring harness (para 6-7).CONTINUITY TEST (Cont)
