Failure to complymay result in damage to equipment.Inspect connector pins/sockets for damage,corrosion, and serviceability. Check thatconnector pins are not pushed back andare capable of making good contact.(1) Remove control valve module (para 7-10).(2) Remove four screws and cover fromcontrol valve module.(3) Disconnect internal wiring harnessconnector F from F solenoid connector.(4) Set multimeter to ohms.(5) Connect positive (+) probe of multimeterto internal wiring harness 31-pin connectorpin E.(6) Connect negative (-) probe of multimeter tointernal wiring harness connector F pin Aand note reading on multimeter.(7) If continuity is not present, replacetransmission internal wiring harness(para 7-13).(8) Connect positive (+) probe of multimeterto internal wiring harness 31-pin connectorpin E.(9) Connect negative (-) probe of multimeter toall other pins in internal wiring harness31-pin connector and note reading onmultimeter.(10) Connect negative (-) probe of multimeter toground and note reading on multimeter.(11) If continuity is present, transmissioninternal wiring harness is shorted; replacetransmission internal wiring harness(para 7-13).
