(5) Set engine speed to idle (750 rpm) or decrease HAND THROTTLE lever (4) to full
down position.
NOTE
Perform step (6) only when it is difficult to achieve normal operating
temperature of 165 F (74 C) due to extreme low outside temperatures.
(6) Perform Rapid Engine Warm-Up (para 2-59) to reach and maintain 165 F (74 C)
for 15 minutes.
CAUTION
A coast down time of one to three minutes is required for turbocharger
before engine can be shut down. Failure to comply may result in damage
to equipment.
(7) Run engine at idle (750 rpm) for one to three minutes.
