15-3. CAB FRONT SUPPORT REPLACEMENT/REPAIR (CONT)
WARNING
Standard cab weighs approximately 1400
lbs (636 kgs).
M1081 cab weighs
approximately 1700 lbs (772 kgs). Attach
a suitable lifting device prior to removal.
Failure to comply may result in injury to
personnel or damage to equipment.
CAUTION
Use spreader bar and place sheet rubber on
cargo sling to prevent damage to cab roof.
Failure to comply may result in damage to
equipment.
NOTE
Steps (60) through (66) require the aid of two
assistants.
(60) Lower cab door windows and install cargo sling through
rear section of cab doors (100).
WARNING
Cab may swing forward slightly when
screws are removed.
An assistant is
required to steady cab. Failure to comply
may result in injury to personnel or
damage to equipment.
NOTE
Left and right side bearings are disassembled
the same way. Right side shown.
(61) Remove four screws (101) from right side bearing
housing (87).
