Discard self-lockingnuts.CAUTIONWhen removing bolts, continuous removal ofcollars is mandatory. Failure to comply willresult in seizing of collar to bolt.NOTELeft and right side of front crossmember isremoved the same way. Left side shown.(3) Remove four collars (8) and bolts (9) from frontcrossmember (4). Discard collars and bolts.(4) Perform step (3) on right side of front crossmember.WARNINGFront crossmember weighs approximately200 lbs (91 kgs). Attach a suitable liftingdevice prior to removal. Failure to complymay result in injury to personnel ordamage to equipment.(5) Remove front crossmember (4) from vehicle.13-81
