(6) Apply a thin coat of sealing compound between bolt
holes at four areas (A) on gasket (4).
(7) Position oil pan (3) on engine with 36 bolts (5).
(8) Tighten 36 bolts (5) to 156-276 lb-in. (18-31 N m) in
sequence shown.
(9) Re-tighten 36 bolts (5) to 156-276 lb-in. (18-31 N·m) in
sequence shown.
