Pressure reading should be between 500-1000 psi (3448-6895 kPa).(35) Turn wheels straight ahead.NOTEIf pressure reading is not within range,bottom adjustment screw is turned to right toincrease pressure or turned to left todecreases pressure.(36) Loosen locknut (16) on bottom adjustment screw (19).(37) Adjust bottom adjustment screw (19) to left or right.(38) Turn steering wheel to right until stops are reached andverify pressure is 650-750 psi (4482-5171 kPa).(39) Turn wheels straight ahead.CAUTIONEnsure adjustment screw does not turnwhen tightening locknut. Failure to complymay result in damage to equipment.NOTERepeat steps (37) through (38) until pressurereading of 650-750 psi (4482-5171 kPa) isobtained.(40) Tighten locknut (16) on bottom adjustment screw (19) to22 lb-ft (30 N·m).(41) Turn steering wheel to left until stops are reached andhold for ten seconds.(42) Check pressure reading on STE/ICE-R. Pressurereading should be between 500-1000 psi (3448-6895kPa).12-13
