Valvebody parts are under tension and canact as projectiles when released. Failureto comply may result in injury topersonnel.(3) Remove retaining pin (4), stop (5), spring (6), andvalve (7) from clutch valve body (2).CAUTIONRetaining pins must be removed frombottom of solenoid body. Failure to complymay result in damage to equipment.(4) Remove three retaining pins (8), solenoids (9),regulating valves (10), and springs (11) from clutchvalve body (2).(5) Remove three preformed packings (12 and 13) fromsolenoids (9). Discard preform packings.c. Cleaning/Inspection.WARNING• Dry Cleaning Solvent (P-D-680) is TOXIC and flammable. Wear protective goggles and gloves;use only in well-ventilated area; avoid contact with skin, eyes, and clothes, and do not breathevapors. Keep away from heat or flame. Never smoke when using solvent; the flashpoint forType I Dry Cleaning Solvent is 100° F (38° C) and for Type II is 130° F (50° C). Failure tocomply may result in serious injury or death to personnel.• If personnel become dizzy while using cleaning solvent, immediately get fresh air and medicalhelp. If dry cleaning solvent contacts skin or clothes, flush with cold water. If dry cleaningsolvent contacts eyes, immediately flush eyes with water and get immediate medical attention.Failure to comply may result in serious injury or death to personnel.(1) Clean all metal parts with dry cleaning solvent.7-54
